Hey this is a quick snapshot of how i figured out the 2011 Suzuki Gsxr 600 Clicking noise Fi F1 code C28 Secondary Throttle Valve Actuator aka clicking i had an 04 gsxr 600 as well with the same exact problem. u can buy just the actuator itself. i picked mine up used for 100 bucks and changed it myself. if u take it to a dealer theyll tell u that u have to buy a whole new throttle body wich will cost u about 1100 plus labor. its a small black box at the end of your throttle body. -lift tank.That clicking noise when i put they key in turned out to be the secondary throttle valve actuator so i lifted the fuel tank took the air filter cover offIf you want you can test your neutral switch. Start it with the kickstand down. Then leaving the kickstand down clutch it and put it in gear. It should die. The tests a couple different things. If your bike dies while in neutral you ve got another problem.

My Gsxr 600 2004 i just recently bought wasn t rev past 8 - 9 and mph wasn t going past 90 -100. I did was research online an this is my attempt at tryinCode showed C29 secondary throttle position sensor. Bought a multi meter and taught myself how to use it just taking volt and resistance readings . Trouble shot it down to either adjust or replace the sensor. BTW the sensor is the top one on the black plastic module mounted on the right side of the throttle body.In my case the code that came up was C-28 or Secondary Throttle Valve Actuator SVTA . After testing the actuator per the shop manual I concluded that the actuator was defective. Whats up I recently bought a 04 gsxr 600 rode it for a day and was on my way home and lost power after 8000 rpm then FI code poped up. So I did the paperclip thing and it showed the infamous C28 code which means my servo is done I think In this case the code c24 or C25 or C26 or c27 is indicated. c28 Secondary throttle valve actuator malfunction When no actuator control signal is supplied from the ECM or communication signal does not reach ECM or operation voltage does not reach STVA motor C28 is indicated. STVA can not operate. STVA lead wire coupler connection. c29I have 2002 GSXR 1000 K2 which has just recently been getting an F1 fault with a slight clicking noise. angry Anyhow a quick check in the F1 fault codes tells me that it is the secondary Throttle valve actuator. I was wondering if any clever person knew of a fix for this or had spare working to sell in your bag of spares. You need the actual problem code. turn the bike on and keep it running short out the two wires in a white harness under your seat and then the f1 will change to a C code.
